food ministryDecreased work hours, car repair, illness, and other emergencies can place a working-poor family in crisis. Every Friday families in need can receive emergency food provisions; thereby enabling them to provide their children a healthy diet. The SHARE Cooperative Food Program each month offers families the opportunity to purchase quality frozen meats and farm fresh produce at half-cost. |
bright beginnings - early childhoodProvides a series of three levels of classes equipping mothers to be their child’s first teacher; enhancing their children’s language development, pre-literacy skills, and early learning experiences. Classes teach mothers how to provide early childhood development and school readiness skills for their children. |
esol"English for Speakers of Other Languages" is a collaboration with the Literacy Volunteers of Collier County. Grace Place provides literacy classes, volunteer teachers and a computer lab for adults, mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. |
summer academic & enrichment day campProvides full-day camp, including remedial reading and math instruction, engaging academic pursuits, healthy meals and snacks, creative arts and activities, sports, swimming, enrichment field trips, music, and mentoring. |
