There are MANY ways to become involved as a volunteer at Grace Place! We welcome your support and look forward to working with you to make your experience here truly meaningful and rewarding.
We have volunteers who work once or more each week, monthly, several times a year, or occasionally for special events. Seasonal and year-round opportunities are available. We also welcome church groups, civic organizations, or business groups who are interested in specific projects or activities.
Volunteers can tutor, mentor, teach, lead, share hobbies such as music and arts and chess and sports, rock babies, play with toddlers, read to children, help in the garden, do repairs and build projects, chaperone field trips, and so much more. There are opportunities to work directly with children and families or to help in support services such as the office, work projects on the property, or fundraising events.
If you have an interest in volunteering, please contact Patty at 239-455-2707 or patty@graceplacenaples.org to learn about volunteer opportunities and to discover which area would best suit your skills and your time availability.
When you become a volunteer with Grace Place, we want it to be a rewarding experience for you, the children and families, and our staff. With that in mind, we have developed a process to help us meet that goal. Prior to the start of your volunteer experience, interested individuals will be invited to visit Grace Place for an informational meeting and take a tour of our campus. This will help you better decide what opportunities may be of greatest interest to you. You will then be asked to submit a volunteer application and successfully complete a screening process. Depending upon the area in which you choose to volunteer, additional training session will also be provided.
